1. Advertising Events

• If booked with the Pod, you are agreeing to advertise for the event you are booked.

• Whalemade Productions will provide a graphic for each event. The graphic is to be posted to your social media account(s) and then shared a minimum of two times in a story post, potentially more if called for. Sharing a story you are tagged in does not count towards that total. 

• The following accounts should be tagged in your social media post: @freidawhales, @whalemadeproductions, @travellingoutokanagan and the venue of the event. The ticket link should be shared as part of your story posts.

2. Payment Structure

• Performer pay will depend on ticket sales, venue costs and expenses. 

• Tips will be pooled amongst performers. We still expect you to bring your best performance though.

• Show payment is completed via eTransfer, and an invoice will be needed before payment (we do have a generic template if needed). Payment is typically within 2 weeks of the show date but can sometimes be longer.

• Tips will be given in cash. Cash tips pick up to be arranged between you and Freida.

3. Performance Set List

• Final performance selections and setlist decisions are at the discretion of Whalemade Productions.

• Number of performance spots will depend on each event and how many performers are booked, but generally we ask for an allotment of 3 numbers per performer. ​​

• Certain songs / performances may not be accepted based on audience of the event.

4. Performer Booking and Etiquette

• When booked for an event, you will plan your arrival for the call-time set by Whalemade Productions.

• The performer will respect the venue (ie. leave the space the same as when you arrived, no arguing with the venue staff, etc.).

• Performers will not drink to excess at the event booked.

• Bookings do not come with a plus one unless approved. Any extra helpers must be approved or they will need a ticket for the event. 

• If you require back up dancers or performers, they will not be paid and will not be part of the tipping (you are welcome to pay them out from your share).

• Only approved people will be allowed in back rooms / change areas.

• No backstage photos will be posted without the express permission of the performer(s) in the photo.

• Performers must perform all numbers required. 

• Failure of any of these could result in termination of booking and loss of payment.

5. Liability

• Performing can come with risks. Whalemade Productions is not responsible for any injuries incurred while in their employ. The performer accepts all risks associated with the activity of performing.
